TONY PACKO CHILLI W/BEANS

Est 1932. Oh my oh my! That Tony & Rose - What a cute couple! Tony Packo's Cafe was a child of the great depression. It was 1932 when Tony Packo Sr, and his wife Rose were young, jobless and the parents of two young children, Nancy and Bob. A third child, Tony Jr., was born after World War II. Rose knew how to make a mean spicy chili and Tony could tend bar. Besides that, Tony had a great idea - take a smoked sausage, slice it in half and put in a bun with a hearty beef sauce - charge a nickel and call it a Tony Packo Hungarian Hot Dog. Rose's chili was the perfect partner to Tony's dogs, and soon two dogs and a chili became the cry behind the food counter at their corner restaurant. The tradition lives on!
